Realtors tend to be very active in their community and I am no exception. One of my favorite volunteer activities is being a trustee for a scholarship fund that was started by local Realtors. High school seniors have the opportunity to apply for college scholarships to Michigan schools where we extensively interview students who have applied. Some of the best days are the days spent with these high school students.

Welcome to my Website
I have been a full-time Realtor since 1989. Having lived in the Farmington Hills area most of my adult life, my first offices were in Farmington Hills and West Bloomfield. This general area continues to be a main part of my market area. Because most of my business has been working with transferees the past 15 years, I am familiar with the entire Oakland County area and most of Wayne County.
I believe that Real Estate is a profession, not a “job”. Most people go into Real Estate having worked in another profession. Having worked as a nurse for almost 15 years, servicing peoples needs was my entire background.
Being a Realtor means being a member of your Local, State and National Association of Realtors and abiding by the code of ethics. Since my first year in this business, I became active in our local association. Committee background includes: education, public policy, government affairs. In 2001, I was elected President of our local association and was the Realtor of the Year. I’ve served on the Board of Directors for both the Michigan Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors, as well as chaired committee’s for both associations.
Why is this important? I believe that being a Real Estate professional means more than just selling homes. The Realtor associations are strong advocates for protecting private property rights for all citizens. We are the legislative “watch-dog” for all issues related to Real Estate and mortgage financing as well as most regulatory issues in this arena.
It has been my pleasure to be a mentor in the Pontiac schools as part of the Reaching Higher organization. This worthy program helps students to maximize their leadership potential and learn valuable survival skills as they navigate through young adulthood.
